I’ve been listening to A Drowning by How To Destroy Angels - yes, it’s Trent’s new project with his wife Mariqueen - and I’m not just biased here, it’s an amazing song. Seven minutes long and not as loud and agressive as much of Trent’s previous work, it’s still got an industrial edge but it’s a beautifully crafted and melodic song. I never really got into West Indian Girl, so I haven’t listened to Mariqueen’s voice properly before, which is ridiculous because her voice is lovely.
