Which is why I absolutely do not get what the FUCK has happened to their talent. The Resistance is truly the worst piece of shit I have listened to all fucking year. Uprising made me want to throw up when I realised that I was listening to it voluntarily, as it sounds like every crappy pop song on the radio. Anything orchestral just sounds overly pretentious, and the majority of the songs are forgettable. The individuality and interest held by former albums is absolutely not present here. If I had to pick one song I like it would be United States Of Eurasia, but even then it would only be liked as much as my lesser favourites on an album like Absolution. I have now listened to the entire album, and have decided that I never want to listen to it again.
I will now go find a nice Nine Inch Nails CD to listen to to repair my poor brain.
